AMELIA HIGH SCHOOL RATED EXCELLENT BY THE STATE OF OHIO
Amelia High School serves roughly 1100 students, grades 9-12, in the West Clermont Local School District. We are located in Batavia Township, Clermont County, Ohio. Students are offered a myriad of opportunities, including the International Baccalaureate School, AP courses, engineering courses, business administration courses, internships, and the fine arts. The greatest contributing factor to our school’s prominence is the strong support from our parents, our community, the Athletic Boosters and PTSO, the district administration and the West Clermont Board of Education. This shared effort among all constituents is critical to our success. As you browse the pages of this website, you will notice the wealth of opportunities offered to our students. I encourage students to take advantage of the possibilities and become involved in the extracurricular activities that interest them. When students become involved in sports, music, drama, and school sponsored clubs, scholastic achievement often improves. Students who participate in activities and athletics learn to budget their time, a skill critical for college success.
