This year the fifth grade was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to attend Woodland Alters Camp. During camp, students have the opportunity to experience living history when they participate in the Underground Railroad.  They get the idea of what is was like to be a runaway slave in 1850.  Other educational opportunities include science and nature activities, pioneer life, Native American Games, weather forecast and many other activities. They were also able to vist Serpent Mound, an indian ceremonial ground.

This year, we went to camp for one over night stay.  What a fun learning experience!
