The Withamsville-Tobasco Student Council is very active in school fundraising and community service.  Past fundraising sales have included pies, candy, holiday buttons, Halloween pins ( a big thanks to Mrs. Nicoloff for her help), and tee shirts.  In the last two years, the Student Council has raised over $3,000 to help buy items needed for the school.  We have managed to purchase new library shelves, donate money to the preschool to help buy playground equipment, purchase playground balls for each classroom and landscaping materials for the front of the building.  We also were able to purchase dye-cuts for the Ellison machine. We were able to order a new binding machine  Our past community service projects have included adopting a family in order to provide them a wonderful holiday, and Christmas caroling at the Eastgate Nursing Home.  We also make holiday cards to send to the residents at the home.  
   Student Council advisors are Mrs. Sunderman, Mrs. Coleman, and Mrs. Beatty.  The Student Council consists of third, fourth and fifth graders chosen for their outstanding academic and leadership qualities.  There are four representatives from each of the three grade levels and they are responsible for attending all meetings.  They are also expected to participate in all fundraising and council activities.  The meetings are held on the following dates for the 2004-2005 school year:

All meetings will begin at 8:15 in room 207unless otherwise indicated.  While we hope that all of the meetings stay as scheduled, there may an instance that we would have to change or cancel a meeting.  In the event of a change or cancellation, we would inform the children by sending home a letter.
