Cap and Gowns:
Caps and gowns will be distributed to students who attend AHS on May 12 during lunch in the entrance area; Amelia students who attend Live Oaks Career Development Center, distribution will be in the Live Oaks' cafeteria on April 23 at 7:30 a.m.; Amelia student who attend Scarlet Oaks, distribution will be in the Scarlet cafeteria on April 23 during lunch.

*There is an additional $20 late fee attached to any orders placed after November 2007
 
Student Behavior:
In order to ensure proper behavior of all students and to ensure a professional and formal atmosphere, diplomas will NOT be in the covers distributed during the actual ceremony.  Pending acceptable behavior, students will be permitted to pick-up their diplomas immediately after the ceremony.
 
Graduation Dress:
Ladies -  White dress shoes (no gym shoes), white dress or skirt and white blouse, no shorts or dark collared dresses, no lettering, stickers, or emblems on caps and gowns, no sun glasses
 
Gentlemen - Solid dark shoes and socks (no gym shoes) long, full-length dark pants, no shorts or jeans, white shirt with tie, no lettering, stickers, or emblems on caps and gowns, no sun glasses
 
ANY STUDENT NOT PLANNING ON PARTICIPATING IN THE CEREMONY, SHOULD NOTIFY HIS/HER COUNSELOR BY MAY 6.

Rehearsal:   Friday, May 23, 2008 
 (Cintas Center Arena Event/Xavier University)
Time: 10:30 am;  Buses leave at 9:30

Attendance is mandatory.  Seniors are expected to dress appropriately according to the AHS dress code.  Any senior whom we suspect of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be removed from practice and his/her parents will be notified immediately.  Any student removed from practice for any reason will NOT be permitted to participate in the graduation ceremony.  The practice should last approximately 2 hours.
