Regional Universities

Students: This is a partial list. If you have a particular school you are interested in, I'll gladly add your school to this list. IB students note: In almost all cases, you must complete the B2 form in April so your score reports can be officially sent from the IB Office. AP Students, you must indicate your preferred schools on your test in May. Also, IB Students, don't be surprised if AP scores are referred to as "credit by exam" while IB Scores are referred to as "transfer credits". I have no idea why this is, but it's a common college reference I've come across.

International Baccalaureate diploma graduates can earn credit for higher level subjects passed at a 5 to a 7.

Ohio University recognizes the IB and awards credit and placement in almost the same manner in which credit is allowed for successful completion of the AP and the GCE A-level results.

Bowling Green The IB Diploma can be used for admittance to the university. Students must petition for advanced credit and/or placement. The Advanced Placement Program (AP) enables entering students to earn University credit for college-level courses taken in high school based upon the scores achieved in final examinations.  AP
Indiana Recognizes HL courses only. Credit for AP exams AP IB

AP courses will be recognized as follows: (a) If a student has earned a 4 or 5 in an AP course, full credit will be given, provided the course meets relevant Hanover College prerequisite and graduation requirements. (b) If a student has earned a 3 in an AP course, the decision as to acceptance for credit will lie with the department .
Credit is granted for courses taken on the Higher Level under the International Baccalaureate program provided that the student earns a score of 6 or above on the qualifying exam. A score of 5 will be considered upon student appeal to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs/Registrar. No credit will be awarded for courses taken on the Standard Level.

Wabash College Along with being the graduating alma mater of our own Mr. Dusch, this fine mens school has lots to offer! One to two course credits will be granted for an Advanced Placement exam score of 4 or 5 upon the completion of a second course in the department with a grade of B- or better. The exception being for English Composition, Mathematics, and Modern and Ancient languages, where the department may grant or deny Advanced Placement credit based on proficiency exam performance and may waive the additional course requirement.
