In order to be successful, a World Studies student...

1.
Makes a sincere effort to come to school each day.  
2.
Comes to class on time, prepared to participate in all activities in that classroom.  
3.
Participates in all required World Studies activities outside the classroom. When school is miss due to field trips, programs, etc, arrangements must be made with teachers regarding make up work and/or quizzes/tests prior to leaving for field trips or programs.  
4.
Turns all work in on time! This includes homework and major assignments. In the event if tardiness to school or field trips, homework must be turned in before the end of the school day.

Takes quizzes/tests missed due to absences during that class period on the first day after returning to school. (extended absences are the only  
  exceptions.)
6.
Does his/her own work.
7.
Brings all necessary materials to class each day.
8.
Develops and displays respect for adults, peers, and all cultures.
