End-of-the-year Mystery...

The President of the United States of America asked the students to attend Camp G/T this week as one of the “Special Ones.”  The letter from President Bush stated that the world was counting on these students to save us all from evil (Bad Brainiac!).  In order to culminate our year with this all-day mystery, names were drawn to determine the roles students would play:  Dare (willing to do anything to save the day!), Little (with a special gift), Seer (predicts what will happen), Frost (freezes other characters), Doc (cures people and things), Safari (tracks due to an amazing olfactory sense as well as a keen sense of direction), Snooze (oh, so sleepy and for good reason!), and Grump (grumpy, of course!).  Students assumed the role of one of these “Special Ones” or a detective trying to solve the mystery.

All dressed and acted their parts as we progressed through the script with an outdoor training mission, an indoor mystery scavenger hunt, decryption of a message, a fingerprinting mini-lesson, and lunch.  Mystery solved.  Case closed!
