GEHS 2009-2010 FAVC League Honors
Glen Este High School's advertising partner, American Family Insurance,
encourages student and parent participation in the 2009-2010 American
Family Insurance – Teen Safe Driver program. Glen Este High School has
the chance to win $25,000, $10,000 or $5,000 (and other prizes). In order to
win these prizes, parents and students need to sign the on-line pledge that

Glen Este High School is one of 412 schools across the country that has been
specifically chosen by AFI to participate in this program, so the chances of
winning the prizes are very realistic. In addition to promoting a great
message in “teen safe driving”, AFI has really gotten behind the idea of
supporting high schools.
Teens become safer drivers. Parents feel more secure.
And both partners – as well as schools – can win cool prizes!

If you are an athlete, and you need
a place to store books and other stuff after school, you must bring your
own lock, and then you can use a locker in the locker room during your
season. You must remove the lock following your season.
Study Tables are now available after school for any student to
receive academic help. Drop by Room 449 and follow the rules of the room.
Any athlete having a current grade of F in any class must report to the room
by 2:25pm and check in with the teachers. Athletes must check the lists
located in any office or near the locker rooms to see if you are to report
to room 449. All rules must be followed or you will be considered
ineligible.

Basketball Wing-Eating Contest is March 16, 6pm, at Eastgate Buffalo
Wings & Rings. Celebrating the ending of yet another great
basketball season, Glen Este Boys and Girls Basketball are partnering with
winter athletic sponsor, Buffalo Wings & Rings-Eastgate, for this
fun-filled evening of competition. Bring your family, bring your friends,

Entry fee is $220 per foursome.

Any student who establishes residency
at Glen Este High School, then wishes to transfer back to Amelia, must meet the requirements described in the document linked below to avoid being ineligible for one calendar year.
