Parents
On August 30, students will be bringing home an information packet that you must read and/or complete and return to school. It is important that you return the student information cards and emergency medical forms immediately. Also, please read over the school rules in your child’s purple handbook (with your child) and sign the form saying you have done so. If you have any questions about school rules or procedures, please call the school office at 947-7700!

STUDENT DROP-OFF/PICK-UP POINT
IF YOU DRIVE YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL OR PICK YOUR CHILD UP AFTER SCHOOL, THE DISIGNATED DROP-OFF/PICK-UP POINT IS IN THE PARKING LOT IN BACK OF THE SCHOOL, OFF JUDY LANE. FOLLOW THE TRAFFIC PATTERN TO THE RIGHT AND AROUND IN A CIRCLE. REMINDER: STUDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE BUILDING UNTIL 7:00 A.M. NO SUPERVISION IS AVAILABLE BEFORE THAT TIME.

Student Dress Code
West Clermont Local School District has a system-wide dress code. We need your help to enforce proper dress.
In brief:
- Shirts/tops must be long enough to cover the midriff at all times.
- Shorts/skirts/dresses must be no higher than mid-thigh in length.
- Clothing or other personal items are not permitted to refer to: alcohol, drugs, tobacco, sexual innuendo, profanity or lewd symbols or slogans.
- Body piercing, other than ears, is prohibited.
Please review the dress code with your child, listed in full in the purple student handbook.
Peterman Bus Transportation
Peterman Transportation will be sending post cards in August containing information about pick-up and drop-off times and locations. Please have your child at his/her bus stop early. Routes are difficult to run on time the first few days because of last minute changes. If you have a transportation concern, call 752-4020.
Student Supply Fees
Supply fees are $30.00 for the 2005-06 school year, payable to GEMS. Fees are due by Friday, September 16.
