Market Day- We’d like to welcome new and returning Market Day supporters! The specials for this month are a FREE Quick 'n' Crispy Shoestring Fries with $40 purchase and a FREE ¼ lb. Beef Patties with your $90 ONLINE purchase. You must enter the promo code MAYBONUS to get this special. May Order forms have been sent home soon, but we have also uploaded a PDF version of the order form to our website. Remember, orders have to be in by Saturday May 19th. 5th Grade and Kdg. pictures are still needed to prepare
for 5th Grade Farewell.
Drive In Movie Event and Vehicle Parade- Families, make your own vehicle (car, truck, motorcycle, submarine, bus, tow truck etc…) out of cardboard or other household materials to “drive” to school on Friday, May 25, 2012. We will have a parade of vehicles at 2:00 pm that afternoon. Parents you are welcome to attend this fun event. Check the blue flyer that came home in your child’s schoolbag this weekend.

Summerside Is A Ready School
Kindergarten Registration has already begun at the Main Office (Union Township Civic Center). Call 943-5000 to make your appointment or ask any questions regarding kindergarten registration. Remind your neighbors to register their child for kindergarten. It's important to register early. Summer Bridge Preschool 8 weeks in June and July. This program is designed for incoming kindergarten students who have not had any prior preschool experience. This fun, FREE program will be held at Child Focus on Tues., Wed. and Thursday mornings. Summer Bridge is designed to help build skills for school success. Transportation may be available to Summerside families. There is NO income qualification for this program but you must call 513-528-7224 to sign up. Space is limited. Yearbooks Did you order your 2011-2012 Yearbook? If not, now is the time to order one. If you would like an order form, please let the office know. The price of the Yearbook is $13.00. Quantities are limited so don't miss this opportunity! Volunteer Reminder West Clermont School District requires all those interested in volunteering undergo a background check. This involves a visit to The Board of Education to be fingerprinted. Hours for fingerprinting are 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. Monday through Friday School Fees Please remember to pay your school fees for the 2011-2012 school year as soon as possible. Checks should be made payable to Summerside Elementary. You may send payment with your child to the classroom teacher or make payments in the school office. School fees are $50.00. |
