Mr. Ross Hudson has been selected as the new principal of West Clermont Middle School. Ross is known as a sharp educational leader and is one who spends time building relationships throughout the school community.
Hudson who just completed his 20th year as an educator, most recently was the Assistant Principal at West Clermont High School. He has also served as an administrator in the district at Amelia Middle School, and Amelia High School. He is replacing Lori Crowe who announced at the end of the school year that she will be taking on a new role at the Mayerson Academy in Cincinnati.
“Mr. Hudson knows our students and families and for so many other reasons he is the obvious choice for the position,” stated Natasha Adams, superintendent. “He brings institutional knowledge of our district to the table and is an exceptional educational leader with a proven track record. He will do an excellent job leading our middle school forward.”
Hudson is expected to begin his new role officially on August 1.
“I am humbled, honored and ready to step up to this new role and in a district that I have long been committed to moving forward,” stated Hudson. “It is a great time to be a West Clermont Wolf and I look forward to working with our staff, students, parents, and community in working together to lead our school forward and make it a place where our students are free to learn, grow, and achieve.”
Hudson and his wife Carrie have three children: Maddie (13), Cole (11), and Brenalyn (8). His contract will appear on the Monday, June 10 Board of Education agenda.
