WCHS Welcomes New Principal

West Clermont High School is excited to welcome Kristin Kauffman as its next principal after she was officially named by the Board of Education during a special meeting on May 22, 2025.

Mrs. Kauffman has served as assistant principal at Milford High School since 2021, where she has
played a key role in launching impactful programs that contributed to the school earning a Silver
Distinction in Ohio’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework. Recognizing
the growing need for mental health resources, she also helped establish the Group-Centered Therapy
Education Program to provide students with expanded support. Prior to her administrative role, Mrs.
Kauffman spent eight years as a dedicated educator in Milford, teaching French and Language
Explorations.

She also brings experience from her time as a teacher in the Northwest Local School District and she began her career as a student teacher here in West Clermont.

“I am incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to be the new principal of West Clermont
High School,” said Kristin Kauffman. “I know that I am joining a vibrant and dedicated community,
and I look forward to meeting staff, students, and families, and working together to support the
success and well-being of every student.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Kristin Kauffman to our team of dedicated and forward-thinking
administrators,” said Superintendent Natasha Adams. “Kristin brings a wealth of experience and a
proven track record of fostering high-performing school communities. Her ability to build strong,
authentic relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners—combined with her
ability to execute on a vision—will be a tremendous asset.”

Mrs. Kauffman received her Principal Licensure: Education Administration through Xavier University.
She earned her Master’s of Education in Secondary Education from the University of Cincinnati and
her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University.

Mrs. Kauffman will officially assume this role on August 1, 2025. The district is planning meet and greet sessions with Mrs. Kauffman in early August and will have more information on those engagement sessions later this summer.
