Training at West Clermont High School Today

On Monday, July 14, 2025, from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., the Clermont County Special Response Team will be conducting monthly training at West Clermont High School.

Throughout the year, the team trains in different school districts across Clermont County to become familiar with school buildings and practice small-team tactics in large structures. Before entering the building, the team will complete thorough safety inspections.

During the training:

Most activities will take place inside the building.
Team vehicles will be parked outside the school.
“Training in Progress” signs will be posted near roadways and school entrances.

This is a scheduled training exercise and not a cause for concern.
