Your ideas are incredibly valuable.

We're listening.

West Clermont Schools is an integral part of our community. That’s why in the spring of 2022, we made it our mission to engage with all stakeholders about the future of our district. We developed a community engagement process that is inclusive and transparent. Every student, staff member, family, partner and resident has had—and will continue to have—the opportunity to participate, suggest, review, comment, and act upon data.

Phase 1: Understanding Our Current Realities

This process kicked off with a REACT Review, a survey that gave all stakeholders the chance to tell us which issues matter the most to them. What emerged from the data were five consistent topics, which we refer to our "five buckets," including:

Student/Staff Safety & Well-being
Educational Programming
Facilities
Transportation
Purpose and Design

Centered around these five themes, we hosted a series of five interactive Town Hall meetings from April through November of 2022. Below you will find every artifact generated from this process, including every suggestion submitted, photos of the solutions posters, answers to the questions that Town Hall participants submitted, and the archive YouTube videos of the complete broadcasts of all five events.

During that time, we also launched a second REACT Review to further explore and gather feedback on the issues that matter to our community and to take a deeper dive into some of the topics we discussed at our Town Halls.

Most importantly, it's not too late for you to join us!

Phase 2: The Journey of a Wolf

The world is changing fast, especially when it comes to education. Technological advancements, artificial intelligence, and rapidly-evolving financial realities present us with the constant trial of preparing our kids for an uncertain future while simultaneously ensuring a core, traditional educational experience. Big decisions and changes are certainly coming up down the road, which is why our communication and relationship with the community has been at the center of this process.

In Series 2 of our Town Halls, our focus has been on exploring the question: What does it take to ensure ALL West Clermont students are future-ready? We have already hosted "Journey of a Wolf" Town Halls and will finish the school year with one final Town Hall on April 27th at Amelia Elementary School. We hope that you will join us for refreshments at 5 PM. The Town Hall will begin at 5:30 PM. Seating is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot here! In addition, you can explore additional artifacts from these Town Halls below.
