WC Your Future was developed to help students see a link between what they are learning and future work.  Programmatic offerings and experiences support students in their growth and development in areas beyond academic learning standards.

We provide exploratory encore course offerings which support students in both their exposure to possible careers of interest while also allowing them to discover what really excites them and what they would likely walk away from when it comes to course offerings at the high school level.

One high interest area in our community is financial literacy. There is a need for students to understand how to manage and maximize their resources, so they are equipped to support the lifestyles they desire as they emerge into adulthood.  In 7th and 8th grade, students have an opportunity to participate in a financial literacy elective. Additionally, we provide a thread of learning experiences at all levels to support student acquisition of skills and deep understanding in the area of financial literacy.

We are committed to partnering with members of our community to support our students in areas outlined in our Portrait of a Graduate. Our five statements that help us stay rooted in our WHY include:

Our students:

  • Create the lives they desire
  • Turn ideas into action
  • Pursue personal happiness and joy
  • Do what is right even when no one is watching
  • Are resilient in the face of challenge

We remain committed to growing community-connected learning opportunities in our core and elective courses.
