Over the last two weeks, we’ve talked about investment and how it helps us succeed. Specifically, we talked about investing in people and the importance of developing a vision and mission that unites everyone with a common goal. As you can see, each step in our investment plan builds upon the others. This week, we are going to talk about the part culture plays in our success.

We are creating a courageous culture by focusing on our mission of committing to excellence with every learner, every day, every way. We strive to have a safe, caring, positive learning environment where all students have a sense of belonging. This means we work beyond academics to ensure students are healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged.

This school year, we are strengthening and expanding our Whole Child Network of partners to remove barriers and deliver wraparound services and support to reach the social-emotional, physical, and safety needs of students to help keep them fully engaged in school. Through this investment, we are providing the tools necessary for students to develop into well-rounded individuals who are ready to rise above the challenges of their circumstances in order to be successful.

Join me next week as we discuss the importance of modern learning frameworks to our journey to success.
