Purpose, People, Progress, Processes: Ingredients for Excellence

Purpose, People, Progress, Processes: Ingredients for Excellence

by Natasha L. Adams, Superintendent & CEO
West Clermont Schools

Did you know? West Clermont Local Schools is the 24th largest district in Ohio. We are also the most western Appalachian district with a rural, urban and suburban population, and are the largest feeder school to Great Oaks Career Campuses.

This means we have a lot of responsibility for a lot of individual needs. We are up to the task, however, because we are in alignment on why we’re here, and that is to help current and future students be prepared to create the lives they desire; to commit to excellence with every learner, every day, every way. This starts with knowing every student’s name, story, strengths and needs.

We are maintaining this mission by staying focused on planning for our future, transforming our traditional teaching and learning model to one that is modern and innovative, and on operational excellence by empowering our teams of people.

We aim to create meaningful educational experiences through collaborative communities by expanding learning beyond the walls of the classroom. You — our students, staff, families, business partners, and community supporters — are an integral piece to making this happen.

Recently, we’ve seen our collective initiatives to make West Clermont Schools an on the RISE district come to fruition. Student achievement is growing, and we’ve seen increased attendance, engagement, and more positive behaviors.

I can’t wait to see how our intentional focus on purpose, people, progress and processes combine this year to keep us moving down the road to excellence.
