A New Chapter of Leadership at West Clermont Schools

A New Chapter of Leadership at West Clermont Schools

On August 1, I officially began serving as superintendent of West Clermont Schools. West Clermont has been my professional home for more than a decade, a place where I’ve grown as a leader and stayed grounded in the belief that strong schools start with strong relationships.

Since joining the district in 2012, I’ve served as principal, director of human resources and assistant superintendent. In each role, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside incredible students, educators, families and community partners. That time has shaped not only my understanding of the work we do but also the way I lead.

As superintendent, I am committed to continuing the important work we’ve started together. That begins with connection. This fall, I’ll be finding opportunities to engage with students, staff and families to listen and to ensure every voice helps shape the future of West Clermont.

Our district’s vision is to Learn. Lead. Succeed. It reflects our promise to help students become strong communicators, thoughtful problem-solvers and active citizens. These are the same qualities I strive to bring to my leadership every day: communication, adaptability, integrity and a clear sense of purpose.

Looking ahead, my focus remains on:

● Supporting student-centered learning in every classroom

● Continuing meaningful community engagement

● Maintaining transparency and stewardship in our finances

● Advancing our 2030 strategic plan and Portrait of a Graduate

There will be challenges. Like districts across Ohio, we’re navigating uncertainty in school funding and balancing rising costs with long-term planning. But our priorities haven’t changed. Our focus remains right where it belongs: on students, on learning and on community.

It’s an honor to serve as your superintendent. I’m proud of how far we’ve come, and even more
excited for what’s ahead. Let’s make it a great school year!
