Welcome from the Principal

Dear Families,

Welcome to Clough Pike Elementary School! Our school exists for the sole purpose of fostering growth in every learner that walks through the doors.  Students here at Clough Pike Elementary School are held to a high standard and are expected to be GREAT!  We take pride in the fact that our school’s performance on state assessments typically rank in the top 10% of public schools in the state of Ohio.  Furthermore, our caring and dedicated staff are experts at creating a learning environment that ensures academic, social and emotional success for every student.  Our Cougar staff works diligently to meet the needs of the whole child.  The staff and students here at Clough are shining examples of the motto:

Special Programs and Traditions at Clough Pike Elementary

Student of the Month Recognition Program (“You’re on Fire”)
The Union Township Fire Department assists us in recognizing our students of the month.

Kids Care Club
Students in grades 3-5 volunteer after school to complete service projects throughout the community and conduct fundraising events for those in need. These experiences are important in helping students to see themselves as active members in the community while also learning the importance of serving others. 

Walking & Running Club
All students can be part of our “Walking & Running Club” where they build skills in the area of teamwork, self-discipline and perseverance. Students have the opportunity to participate in the activities associated with The Flying Pig Marathon.
